D: I have both experiences in a waterside care home. My husband was a resident here for around two years. I used to come and visit him often, and I always found the home clean, presentable and a happy place, with lots going on. At the beginning of this year, I decided to move into a care home. I was lucky that Waterside had a room for me!! I would not have wanted to go anywhere else. I trust all the staff at Waterside, they went above and beyond for my late husband, and I just love it here.

RW: I like this place because it feels like a home away from home. The food is fantastic; we have lots of choices. The staff are hardworking and welcoming; we are like one big family.

JSC: Everyone here is so lovely and kind. I have been here for just over a year, the home is clean and welcoming, and there is always something going on.

AF: I came here for two weeks, and I liked it so much that I decided to stay. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I enjoy our trips out, especially to the zoo.

PH : I love my room and the view of the sea; the food is yummy; I have made lots of friends here. I enjoy time in the cosy corner.

TS: At first, I felt nervous coming into Waterside as this was a big change for me, but I felt I was reassured, and the staff have helped me settle in. I enjoy the activities at home. I mostly enjoy it when the singer comes. Everyone is happy and bubbly here.

IW: I enjoy spending time in the garden with my family. It is a lovely place to sit and take in the sea air. The staff a splendid and cannot do enough for me. I also like it when we have special events on such as when we have the singer come into the home.

Resident FS- Absolutely nothing is ever too much at this care home! Glad I made the decision to move here.

Resident KC- I wanted to go the pub one evening, so I was assisted to the pub, enjoyed a lovely drink and was assisted back. Staff do whatever they can to help at Langdales !!

Resident BB- i initially came to Langdales care home for 2 weeks restate, however, I loved my stay here and decided not to go home, this is my home now.

JB – Fantastic is all I have to say, I would be up the creek without a paddle without you carers and boss lady

DM – I’m happy, I requested sea bass for my lunch and the day after my request was carried out and I thoroughly enjoyed it

JP – Acitivites are so fun, most days I don’t want to go back to my room!

CG – The meals are amazing, I even have seconds and thirds sometimes! Thank you for being my family

BL – I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, I am very well cared for, I score them a 10/10

DO – The staff are very caring and always take time to listen to us and I just know they are listening and genuinely want to listen

JP, This is my home now, I could not fault it, my brother comes to see me all the time and even he likes it.

GS, This place is champion, I am well looked after, champion the staff are too.Why would anyone not want to be cared by Langdales is beyond me !!

AR, My bedroom has been made so homely with some of my belongings from home, it is like home from home, I am happy here.

NC, I have been at Langdales a few months now and I have a great bond with the staff and have a right good laugh with them.

JW, I was worried about coming in to a care home because I love my food, but here at Langdales we get a good choice and even if we do not want what is offered the chefs will go out of their way to cook something I prefer.

CR, I like it here, it is my home, my wife and family come to see me regular. I like looking out the window at Blackpool Tower. Great views.

RS, The staff are very good, always happy and I know I can have a laugh with them, they enjoy my dry sense of humour.

Everything is excellent cannot ask for more
